Joi Xiao

Joy Xiao(Yue Xiao), an associate of the Firm, represents domestic and international clients in all aspects of corporate and securities law, focusing on Pan-Asian global business and investment matters. As an international business lawyer licensed in both United States and China, she has been representing clients on cross-border transactions, commercial litigations, international trade disputes resolutions and immigration cases. She was selected as the Leading International Attorney by China Sichuan Chengdu Bar Association in 2020 (less than 100 attorneys selected) and admitted to New York Bar in 2023.

 

Ms. Xiao currently focuses on advising global private companies going Initial Public Offerings (I.P.O.s) in the U.S. and the public offerings of special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs) , and other corporate registration, financing, Mergers, and Acquisitions, and general global business and corporate representation.

 

Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Xiao managed a top-tier large China law firm’s N.Y. International business and legal matters as a Chinese lawyer. She bridged a New York-based global law firm with two leading China law firms and advised clients on Asian-related business adventures in both transactional and litigation matters. Ms. Xiao has been practicing as a Chinese lawyer advising global clients doing business in China since 2012.

 

Currently, living in both U.S Manhattan and New Jersey with a home based in Chengdu, China, Ms. Xiao is admitted to the State of New York as a Foreign(China) legal counsel and focused on helping global clients for their business adventures the US and China.
